As you can see, with all those IE 9 Microsoft promotion, its still fails the ACID 3 test. Image above shows IE9 acid 3 test against Google Chrome
Things about programming, java, web design, arts, music, graphic design or anything my brain wants to broadcast.
My IE9 shows exactly as yours, but according to Wikipedia, IE9 gets a 95 / 100 on the acid3. I know it's supposed to be run with default settings. I wonder if we've messed with that.
ReplyDeleteYep. I went to Tools -> Internet Options -> "Advanced" tab, and selected "Reset..." at the bottom. I went with all recommended settings and viola, I got a 95/100. I don't know what settings I had that messed up the acid test.
ReplyDeleteBut still, so many browsers have been at 100 here for some time. Why M$? Why? As I heard elsewhere, "Hey IE9, 1998 called. Good job!"
Actually I ran the ACID 3 test right after I download IE9. Didn't tweak anything, just straight up ACID 3 then bam 13/100.
